Hi Merry xmas to all the lifeboat crew and helpers

Regards
D.D.S General Builders

31st October 2009

Good day to you all -

I was one of the crew who were down filming The Robin Hood film in Freshwater West in the summer. Lenny, one of your crew members, very kindly arranged a visit one Sunday morning to your Boat House and your new boat that had only a few weeks previously had its naming ceremony. I passed a bit of time chatting with Lenny &  Richard, in the local hostelry (The Old Point). I came away from there over-awed by the whole operation. It has left a lasting memory and huge respect for your work. So this is just to say hello again, and good luck to your station.

I've recently been working on another project in Eastbourne and am hoping to visit the nearby Newhaven Station.

All the best to you,

Charlie Simpson

I like your Website very much. It's informative and straight to the point.I have seen some RNLI Station Websites and the impression on some is what were they thinking when they put the Website together.

Feed back Hi, bril webbie pages, it's good to see a station which keeps its shouts pages well upto date, even whilst still out on service (some I see have still got last summer as last shout - maybe they don't have anyone who can switch a computer on - which I doubt). Dave Turnball at Swanage always updates asap after a service, but you get into the water first!!
It's time to get the RNLI to change the photo on your station site to show off your new pride and joy.
Keep safe
Jeff

Thanks to the lifeboat and crew who came out to us on 28th August when Torhilda had a line wrapped round rudder and prop off Skokholm - losing steering in a tide race off a rocky island is not an experience we'd like to repeat, and the prompt assistance of coastguard and lifeboat was a great reassurance. Having managed to free the rudder and make progress under sail, the light winds stayed with us and we were pleased to anchor safely in Dale 10pm that night! Thanks again.

We'd like to make a contribution to the Angle lifeboat - can you let us know who to send to? Thanks! Perry, Claudia and James Crickmere

What a wonderful site. Well done, this is a real treat for anyone interested in Angle, the RNLI or even people who have have been rescued by the crew.

20 May 08 From Malcolm Flegg present owner of The Spirit of Angle

The new website is a great improvement - congratulations.

I don't know if you know this but the photo of my boat on your website was taken when we did a naming ceremony when she became Spirit of Angle during the Regatta at Angle in I think it was 1999.

13 May 08 From Pearl Hargreaves, Perth, Western Australia.

we received a telephone message saying:

Thank you for the web site, I have now been able to show my daughter her great Grandfather Cecil Hicks and her uncle Alister Hicks. I used to holiday in Angle as a child and think that this is a great web site.
