This 35' x 8'6" pulling and sailing self-righter which was built in 1899 for the New Romney Lifeboat Station, was placed on temporary duty in Angle 5 days after the James Stevens No.3 was damaged.

From 1919 - 1920 she was part of the relief fleet, then placed at Johnshaven from 1920 - 1928
